Hula Hula is more casual and has slightly more of a party atmosphere than it's closest competitor, Bonj Les Bains. Hula Hula brings in DJs to perform and stays open late. Their menu is simple beach fare - snacks, sandwiches and fish and lots of cocktails!

What Bistro Alviž lacks in location (just off the main square), it more than makes up for in terms of quality, service and value, and one of the sure signs of a restaurant's worth - local popularity - puts Alviž up there as one of Hvar's best value restaurants. Starting out as a creperie, Bistro Alviž has grown both in reputation and expanding menu, and now serves some of the best pizza in town, as well as some excellent meat and fish dishes. Additionally, Alviž has its own cellar, offering house wine from their vineyards as well as extra virgin olive oil from their olive groves. This is a centrally located spot with sure-bet dishes at a good value.
Located in a small alley just off the central square next to Hotel Park, Dalmatino Steak and Fish House offers an impressive fish and meat menu. Pizzeria Kogo is an average, no-frills restaurant in the center of Hvar's town square, perfect for an afternoon lunch. The restaurant has lots of ourdoor seating available, as well as a few tables indoors with a small bar. The menu is straightforward - pizzas, pastas and salads, all at fair prices. The pizzas are large enough to split for lunch, especially if you share a salad. Pizzeria Kogo also does a mean bowl of french fries - if you have a craving, this is the spot to get it filled. They offer full bar service, but stay away from the house wine - trust me, it's best to avoid.
